makes it possible to define tool assemblies of several tool components within ESPRIT. This assembly consists of components and geometries per component. Both 2D (dxf) and 3D (stl) data can be used. Consequently a real visualization of the tools is reached during the simulation. The components are divided into cut, shank, holder and spindle and supply thereby different collision behaviour.

This tool assembly can be connected with an Esprit tool. When a tool shape assembly is connected with an Esprit tool, then all the data of the assembly is stored in the Esprit tool. This means, when the tool is exported as ETL file and imported in another Esprit document, then the assembly will also be in the other document. You can also connect the tool assembly with a Knowledgebase tool and each time the tool is imported from the Knowledgebase, you get also the tool shape assembly that was assigned to the tool.
